ILA – Chile

Each TFAS international program requires participants to complete pre-institute paperwork.  This section is for participants who have been accepted to and are attending the TFAS International program in Chile.

Below is a list of ILA requirements for all attending participants:

Travel Information

It is important that the Chile program staff have your travel information before the program in case any issues arrive during your trip or if extra accommodation is needed. The travel form should be completed before the participant leaves for the Institute.  We understand that travel details take some time to arrange so it is possible to delay this until your travel reservations have been confirmed.

Tuition Payment

Your tuition payment is due in full by the date specified in your acceptance letter.  ILA tuition is listed in US Dollars. Payment for the program is accepted in four ways.

  1. Credit Card
  2. Wire Transfer – Email Mr. Alexander Archuleta for instructions
  3. PayPal
  4. Check or Money Order – Please make checks payable to ‘The Fund for American Studies’ and write ‘ILA’ in the subject line. Checks or Money Orders should be sent to:

Electronic Photo

ILA requires that you email a headshot photo of yourself for our program booklet. Please email this photo to Mr. Alexander Archuleta.

Visa Information

Latin American students and students from other nationalities should check with their local Chilean consulate to see if a visa is needed. For those who need a visa letter, please contact the University of the Andes. Some countries may be required to pay a “reciprocity fee” upon their arrival in the airport. Check the consulate site for this information.
